"The serene moon witnessing eternal love and unbreakable trust... Karwa Chauth is the ultimate festival of marital devotion."
1. Morning Sargi Guidelines
Consume the Sargi (fresh fruits, sweets, dry fruits gifted by mother-in-law) before dawn during Brahma Muhurat. Following this, the strict waterless fast begins.
2. Moon Sighting & Fast Breaking Rituals
- Upon moonrise, view the moon through a decorative sieve (Chhanani), then look upon your husband's face.
- Offer water (Arghya) to the Moon God from a copper vessel.
- Accept the first sip of water and sweet from your husband's hands to complete the fast.
